It does not cover personal data we process on behalf of a client under a services agreement. In that situation the client is the controller, and their own privacy notice applies; we act as their processor under a data processing agreement.

5 Marketing
We market by email only. We do not cold-call, and we do not sell or rent our data.
- You can opt in through any form on our website. We record the date, time and wording of the opt-in through HubSpot.
- Every marketing email carries a one-click unsubscribe link and a link to update your preferences.
- Withdrawing consent is free and takes effect as soon as we can action it. It does not affect anything we sent lawfully beforehand.
Where you are a business contact at a company or limited liability partnership, the UK marketing rules (PECR) permit us to email you about our services without prior consent. We will still tell you where we got your details, and we will still stop as soon as you ask us to.
6 Cookies and similar technologies
The cookie banner on our website is provided by HubSpot. It appears the first time you visit and lets you accept or reject each category of non-essential cookie. You can change your choice at any time through the banner link in the footer, or by clearing cookies in your browser.

|
Functionality |
Remembers preferences such as previously submitted form details |
Required |
HubSpot sets cookies including __hstc, hubspotutk, __hssc and __hssrc. These identify a browser across visits and link a form submission back to the pages that person read beforehand.
|
Why we ask for consent for analytics even though the law now allows an exception Since 5 February 2026, cookies used solely for statistical purposes to improve our own service have been exempt from the consent requirement, provided we tell you clearly and offer a free way to object. The HubSpot tracking cookies do not sit inside that exception: they attach browsing history to a named contact record in our CRM, which is closer to building a profile than to counting page views. We therefore ask for consent rather than rely on the exception. |

8 Where your personal data is held
Some of our providers are based outside the United Kingdom, which means your personal data may be transferred abroad. Where that happens, we make sure one of the following protections applies.
- The country is covered by UK adequacy regulations.
- The provider is certified under the UK Extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. HubSpot, Inc. certified to the UK Extension in September 2023, and the UK adopted its adequacy regulations for the framework in October 2023.
- The transfer is covered by the UK International Data Transfer Agreement, or by the UK Addendum to the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses, supported by a transfer risk assessment. HubSpot’s data processing agreement incorporates the UK Addendum as a fallback alongside its framework certification.
9 How long we keep your personal data

10 Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you;
- ask us to correct anything inaccurate or incomplete;
- ask us to delete your personal data, in certain circumstances;
- ask us to restrict how we use it, in certain circumstances;
- ask us to transfer it to you or to another organisation, where it is data you gave us and we hold it by consent or under a contract;
- object to our use of it where we rely on legitimate interest; and
- withdraw consent at any time, where we rely on consent.
You have an absolute right to object to direct marketing. If you exercise it, we will stop, without exception.
To exercise any of these rights, email enquiries@wearequantify.com. There is normally no charge. We will respond within 30 days. If your request is complex or you have made several, we may extend that by a further 60 days and will tell you if so. If we need more information from you before we can respond, the time limit pauses until you provide it. We may ask you to confirm your identity first.
11 How to complain
|
You have the right to complain to us directly if you think we have handled your personal data unlawfully. Email enquiries@wearequantify.com with “Data protection complaint” in the subject line, or write to us at the address in section 1. We will acknowledge your complaint within 30 days, keep you informed, and tell you the outcome without undue delay. |
You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at any time. You do not have to complain to us first.
